The setup establishes your organization’s visual standard, booking pathway and HR workflow. From there, each new hire books directly with Uptown, comes to the Central Austin studio, selects their image the same day, and HR receives a professionally retouched portrait that matches the organization’s existing visual library.

A New-Hire Experience that feels personal
Consistency matters, but the employee should never feel processed.
Each person is welcomed into the studio, guided through expression and posture, shown their images in real time,
and invited to select the portrait that feels most like them.
That creates a better photograph and a more human first experience with the organization’s visual culture.
The system should create consistency without making the person feel standardized.
Is there a minimum commitment?
The setup fee activates the organization’s visual standard, booking pathway, onboarding materials, and service term. Per-hire sessions are then billed as employees participate.
What if several people start at once?
New hires may book individual appointments or cluster sessions when timing and availability allow.
Can you match our existing headshots?
Yes. During setup, we review the existing lighting, background, crop, color, and finishing so new portraits connect naturally to the current library.
Does the employee receive a copy?
Yes. Final delivery can be provided to the organization, the employee, or both, according to the agreed workflow.
What happens if someone needs a reshoot?
We review genuine technical or service concerns individually and coordinate the appropriate solution. Avoid promising a free reshoot in every situation unless that is written into your agreement.
Where are sessions held?
Standard sessions take place at the Uptown ATX Studio in Austin. On-site or DFW arrangements may be available through a custom proposal.
